Full of textures, soulful melodies and captivating atmospheres. That is the most accurate description of the sound that Glass Cristina has developed, since its foundation at the beginning of 2016 until today. With a clear mixture of various genres such as Neo-soul, funk and electronic music , it’s hard to label their sound under a specific genre.

Led by friends Bernardo Castilla and Lorenzo Engell (both Mexican), Glass Cristina was born in Barcelona. Their first EP ‘Circle Line’ consisted of a total of 5 songs, including ‘La Reina De España’ and ‘Dancing With The Devil’. Regardless of the EP being unmastered and home mixed due to student economical situations, the austere sound of ‘Circle Line’ was more than enough to captivate the attention of the public in various platforms (especially in Mexico).

After a year of the project being on a halt due to both members living in separate countries, the project resumed in 2017. Now, expanded to a three piece band with the inclusion of Enzo Aquino playing bass, synths and back-up vocals, Glass Cristina has achieved a more organic live show.

The new album, titled Nudity, has been in the studio for over a year. The first four singles ‘Supermagic’, ‘Friendship 1913’, ‘Icarus’ and ‘Scaramouche‘ show only one side of the coin. The release of Queen’s Crown is yet another taste of the album that Glass Cristina has been developing in the studio, which is set to be released early 2020.
